1   Pretreatment and Clarification

Use of surface water is the generally preferred alternative as high flow rates are common in Pulp & Paper processes. Therefore, removal of suspended and dissolved solids is critical in order to be suitable as process water, for steam generation or cooling system make-up.

7   Chemical Recovery Process

The objective of the chemical recovery process is to turn residual by-products of the fiber process into heat and recover valuable inorganic substances for its reuse in the digester. To achieve optimal results, we have designed a specific portfolio of polymers for liquor clarification that addresses extreme temperature and pH conditions.

8   Wastewater treatment

High organic loads contained in cellulose mill wastewaters require combination of chemical and equipment solutions to ensure elimination of pollutants and compliance with local discharge regulations. In many cases, water reuse and energy generation (W2E) is a viable alternative.
